The birthright “citizenship” scam acts as a magnet to draw 400,000 illegal aliens to America each year. It is time to end this 30-year-old policy which most Americans do not realize is NOT based on the rule of law or the 14th Amendment.
Polls show that 70% of Republican primary voters support the immigration reform platform that presidential candidate Donald Trump has unveiled. In addition, 54% of ALL voters support ending the birthright “citizenship” scam by which an illegal alien can sneak into America and give birth to a baby which receives automatic citizenship (and the illegal alien parents are given a get-out-of-deportation-free-FOREVER card.
The 14th Amendment to the US Constitution was passed in 1868 to prevent southern Democrats from deporting the children of freed slaves to Africa. It was not intended to confer citizenship on the children of illegal aliens, ambassadors, foreigners, tourists or anyone else who happened to be born on U.S. soil. Look no further than the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924 for proof of this: Native Americans were not granted citizenship until years after the Indian uprisings had finally ended. The geography of their birthplace had nothing to do with CITIZENSHIP and their loyalty to the United States had everything to do with it.
As pro-America champion Ann Coulter notes, “The anchor baby scam was invented 30 years ago by a liberal zealot, Justice William Brennan, who slipped a footnote into a 1982 Supreme Court opinion announcing that the kids born to illegals on U.S. soil are citizens.” No law has ever been passed which grants citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, despite the pleadings of the talking heads on Fox News.
Rep. Steve King (R-IA) agrees with Donald Trump that the birthright citizenship scam acts as a magnet for illegal aliens and that the POLICY must be ended by passing new legislation. King’s HR 140 is a bill to end the birthright citizenship scam, thus taking away this major incentive for unlawful entry into the United States for pregnant Hondurans and the concubines of communist Chinese generals.
Under a biblical standard of law, which our Constitution is rooted in, an illegal alien has no standing to claim citizenship for a baby that happens to be born on American soil. Immigrants — legal or illegal — are to be subject to the same laws as the people of their host nation.
This is even spelled out in the 10 Commandments: “But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.” (Exodus 20:10, NPT Bible pg. 84) God did not say, "My law does not apply to illegal aliens who happen to be within the gates at the time of birth!"
An illegal alien should be permanently excluded from the blessings of citizenship because by definition they have refused to adhere to our laws. And the anchor baby scam is being perpetrated specifically to rescue the law-breaking parents from deportation!
